I’ve read 37% of “One Minute Out: Gray Man #9)” by Mark Greaney.
I’ve read 27% of Anathem by Neal Stephenson.
I’ve read 33% of The Sum of All Fears by Tom Clancy.
I’ve heard a lot about the Dark Tower series but this is the first time I’m reading it.This is only the first book so I haven’t yet decided whether it’s good fantasy or not. It’s not the worst fantasy I’ve read though so depending on how the rest of the series go it might get added to the rereads pile.

OK, this book and Hummus. First, if your hummus tastes like baby shit, then it’s really bad hummus. Second, if your tahini isn’t spicy, it’s not tahini. You mix the tahini with the hummus and then you dip your meat or pita bread or veggies (cucumbers or tomatoes or artichokes work best but zuccini is workable) in the mix. People who eat hummus eat meat all the time, you dip lamb in hummus if you don’t like mint jelly. This author usually does good research and it could be that this character is meant to be an ignoramus, but yeah hummus plus tahini plus meat is absolutely a thing, and you can do it with lamb or steak or chicken or goat. Trying to decide if this will effect the rating I give this book.

I want to see if the photo and other information goes through.
This secondary character, (I think she’s secondary but can’t really tell at this point) likes both mojitos and Earl Gray tea. I’m trying to decide of the Mojito and Earl Gray tea liking should be categorized as one fault, or two separate faults. At this point i’m hoping she doesn’t become too important, because right now I’m not impressed with her.
This book has a main character who beats up bad guys with suitcases, and, I think I am totally here for this. Definitely original. Takes “anything can be used as a weapon” to a whole new level.
Hoping no one from TSA figures this out or they’ll ban suitcases as part of their security theater.

The book jacket information read at the beginning of NLS (Bard) audio books reminds me of movie previews.
Perfect for getting drinks or snacks or taking another kind of break before you dive into the next book.
And with that, on to book 98.
